The students and staff of Maharishi Vidya Mandir Sr Sec School, Silpukhuri celebrated Saraswati Puja, Goddess of Knowledge and Wisdom, with much enthusiasm and vigour on 26th January, 2023 in the school premises. The entire campus had a festive look, the sound of conch shells; the chants of the sacred mantras filled the air of the Campus. All the rituals were performed with great fervour. The Puja was followed by other rituals such as Puspanjali and tilak. The prasad and kichdi bhog was distributed after the puja to the invitees. The students of class 9 shouldered the responsibility of all the arrangements for puja under the guidance of their teachers, which helped them to learn the qualities of team work leadership and cooperation.
